Classic Wedge Salad & Blue Cheese Dressing

Blue Cheese Dressing
 ½ cup mayonnaise
 ½ cup sour cream
 ½ cup buttermilk
 ¼ tsp salt
  tsp pepper
 ¼ tsp garlic powder
 1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
 2 oz blue cheese
Wedge Salad
 1 head iceberg lettuce
 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
 1 cup diced tomatoes
 1 tbsp diced chives
 1 cup blue cheese dressing
 ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles

Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender. Pulse for about 10 seconds until smooth and creamy. Add additional blue cheese crumbles as desired to make the dressing chunky, or to increase the blue cheese flavoring.


Prepare the lettuce by removing the outer leaves: chop the head of lettuce in half and then half again, making 4 wedges. Cut the ends to remove the stem. Plate the wedges and top with blue cheese dressing, bacon crumbles, tomato, chives and additional blue cheese crumbles if desired.


Serve cold and enjoy! Best eaten with a sharp knife and fork.
